Please read the following information very carefully:

The format you are completing involves an enhanced online learning module that covers some of the theory content. It is presented in a fun way of videos and a quiz that will teach you everything I would normally teach in the first part of the face-to-face session.

Completion of the online content can be completed at a time that suits you prior to the course and takes up to 3-4 hours. Completion of this online learning also counts as your written exam component of the course and means you no longer need to complete a multiple choice exam as part of the face-to-face session.

After completion of the online learning you will then attend the face-to-face assessment session on Saturday 12th September 2026.

During these sessions you will need to demonstrate the following practical skills you learnt from the videos:

CPR only

·     Perform CPR on an adult – on the floor

·     Demonstrate the use of an AED

·     Perform CPR on an infant

·     Position an unconscious breathing casualty

First Aid

·     Administer the adrenaline auto injector for anaphylaxis (EpiPen)

·     Treat someone with breathing difficulties (Asthma)

·      Choking with airway obstruction

·      Unconscious breathing casualty

·      Bleeding and shock

·      Snake or funnel web spider bite

·      Sprains and fractures

Please note: There isn't time on the day to revise all of the above skills so please make sure you are confident in these practical skills you have learnt online prior to coming to the assessment.

On completion of both the online learning and the face-to-face session you will be issued with a Nationally recognised certificate.

There are two things that you will need to do prior to the face-to-face training day:

1.   To secure your place - click on the link below and enrol yourself in the course you need – this only takes 5 mins so please do it now. Be sure to select ‘Booking for an individual’. If you have completed training with MdB Training Solutions before use the email you logged in with previously as it will then remember your details.
